How does Cloa's memory work?

Cloa uses a hybrid memory system: structured long-term memory for explicit facts ("user's mom is named Maya") and semantic search for fuzzy retrieval over past conversations. Memory persists indefinitely, scoped per-user, encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3, and is never used for model training.

Is Cloa private? How do you handle my data?

Cloa is built privacy-first. Every integration has three permission levels (Off / Ask First / Always) so you control exactly what Cloa can access. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We never sell data, never use it for advertising, and never train models on it. Yes. Tap the call button in the Cloa app for a real-time voice conversation with sub-300ms latency. Interrupt naturally — Cloa supports full barge-in. Voice runs over a dedicated WebSocket Voice Gateway built on the OpenAI Realtime API plus a custom Voice Activity Detection layer.

Does Cloa work on Telegram?

Two ways: (1) Telegram Lovers — Cloa's 31 companion AI personas (Aria, Sofia, Ananya and more) you can chat with directly in Telegram, each with distinct voice and personality. (2) Personal Telegram integration — connect your account via Settings → Integrations to let Cloa read and send messages on your behalf within your conversations.
